On the waterfront between Cook's Dock to the south and the parking lot where the Casino Boat will dock are 3 pieces of property that are privately owned.  A future development slated for this property is called Sunset Harbor.  The original project was approved by the PAB for condominiums.  We were concerned about this project, as it would be built on pilings in the water. As you can see from the pictures, most of the “land” for this project is water.  Information now is that the developer is coming back on the agenda for the PAB and City Commission with plans for building heights being lowered with retail shops on the bottom level and the condos on the upper level.  This property is in the CRA (Community Redevelopment Area) but as private property will be handled separately.  We will update this information as more on this project becomes available.
