Special Meeting (as of one hour ago-not currently listed on the city agenda site) to discuss the "Vested Rights" procedure and the guidelines that Mr. Mearns is preparing.  The discussion should include the Bert Harris Act guidelines and how it can or cannot be applied by developers.  It may also move into why the city just paid umpteen jillion dollars for Gail Easley to revise our Comp Plan and now 6-8 months later we are  having these huge discrepancies arise. If we're lucky the discussion will also turn to why developers are going into the poorer areas and telling people their houses are going to be condemned if they are not maintained properly in an effort to buy them out and then replace their single family house with a duplex.  The meeting will also discuss restructuring debt for the Marina and golf course improvements, and borrowing $8,980,000.00 at 3.77% to cover the improvements.
